Well I downloaded a copy of Chrono Trigger as it looked great but it kept crashing each time I got to the part where you teleport back in time. I tried it again and again. I found a so called patched rom which worked great for ages, and I got really far but that just crashed later on. How frustrating. I am wondering if anyone has found a reliable rom for the English version of this game yet.

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin is now out on dash roms. Wonder if its any good? I expect it will be!
According to my web statistics a lot of people are entering the site looking for information about nds-roms.com along with the word “closed”. Sure enough, when I look at the site I get a server error. Does anyone have any more information on this?

First there was Romulation, now another great rom site has been closed down - Dash Roms. Dash Roms offered http downloads of all kinds of roms, from Mame to Nintendo DS. If you visit their website now you will notice there is but a single line of text stating “This site has been suspended.”
Recently Dash Roms had removed their direct downloads and instead used third party hosting for the roms . In fact most of the roms on this site were sourced from Dash Roms, and we are not the only ones using their roms. I think to have their account suspended, they must have been dumping the roms themselves. I hope so anyway, otherwise I’ll have to remove all links to roms off this site!

There seem to be many websites that now offer free downloads of Ninitendo DS Roms. I have listed a couple below. What interested me though is how they get away with this. It is essentially piracy after all! I know there is the old argument that you can make a backup of software you have purchased, but I think that’s just an excuse really. Anyway, I wont complain.
